Well now... This has sort of turned into a more extended absence than expected. Throw together an onslaught of ideas, a lack of free time, a vacation sans-computer (the White Mountains are beautiful... Story Land is a blast for the kids, and much bigger than expected...), some laziness and a dash of apathy and there you have it.

Except for burning a CD mix of some quality emo (Jets to Brazil, Sunny Day Real Estate, Hot Water Music, Jawbox, etc.) for my niece, today is the first day I've even looked at a computer in over a week.

It felt good to be away. It feels good to be back. I'll be pulling things together and posting some actual content as the week progresses. Stay tuned...
