“As far as we know we are the first to the finish line in this massive digital feat and our iPods couldn’t be prouder.”
Jade Tree Records has been putting out some of the absolute best in punk, hardcore, emo and indie rock since the early nineties. Now they are among the first independent labels to make their catalogue available in the iTunes Music Store.
To celebrate, I've put together an iMix containing some of my favorite songs from Jade Tree artists of the past few years. Jets To Brazil, Swiz, The Promise Ring, The Explosion, Milemarker and more. These are crucial tunes.
Notes:
Linking to the iMix requires iTunes. Wether you use a Mac or a PC, you should be using iTunes. There is really no reason to use any other software to play your digital music. Download it now if you need to.
BK over at redshifter.org actually mentioned this a long time ago, but Jade Tree just announced it on the 17th.
I might add or subtract songs now and then to change it up a little.
It should be mentioned that for now, the selection of independent bands and labels at eMusic still blows iTMS out of the water.
