Purge

So I’m mired in this “dammit I think I might actually completely hate the web and I can’t recall the reason I ever thought any of this was even remotely worthwhile and my naive, dough-eyed ‘boy what a great medium this is no-matter-what’ spirit has been shoved on the ground and kicked in the face repeatedly so why not let it die over in the corner along with so many other failed attempts and I hate this website and want to destroy it because I’m frustrated, uninspired and disillusioned and screw the Yankees, those dirty, underhanded bastards” thing and I get an e-mail from a fellow Ignition fan who, it turns out, runs an excellent online design magazine called Reservocation which features, among other good things, an inspiring interview with Todd Purgason of Juxt and then I see these great new designs over at the CSS Zen Garden which just keeps getting better and I start to feel all like “hey that’s the beauty of this thing man, this is a great medium no-matter-what and maybe I’m just in a funk and it’ll pass soon enough and maybe someday we’ll look back and laugh at all this rage ‘n bile as a revamped design and new writing flow from the keyboard like green in springtime” and I also remember that, while it would be nice to see the Red Sox win, I’m not going to make myself crazy over it because I’m a bigger fan of football than baseball because I dig those melodramatic NFL Films productions, however, Kieran does point out that Pay-Rod can’t hit Boston pitching …so just maybe…
