So yeah the Super Bowl. All I wanted to see was the game. I didn’t watch the halftime show. I never watch the halftime shows because the halftime shows suck. I’m not a fan of any of the performers that were on, and I’m definitely not a fan - as I mentioned once before - of the banal publicity stunts of waning celebrities.

I’ve admitted to being a big football fan, but here’s the thing: I’m a fan of only the game itself. I hate all the crap that it tows along with it. Especially the Super Bowl. I’m not interested in the ‘show’ I just want to see the best two teams play the hell out of the game. I’m lucky to live in New England because this might be the only area of the country where one of the most thrilling games ever played isn’t being overshadowed by a boob.

I just mentioned this in the Linkage section below, but it bears repeating. The only thing other than the actual game that caught my interest was the commercial for the Ford GT. Which is arguably much hotter looking than Janet is these days.
