1. “If web designers ruled the world, Apple would acquire Microsoft, clients would choose web standards over American flag animated gif’s, and ironic t-shirts would never go out of style.”
I’ve been really enjoying the spot on humor over at The Daily Standards. This is a good one too. Of course, I’ve also been enjoying the sites that have been spotlighted there.
2. My favorite episode is the one where the old woman bumps her head and Basil picks some crumb or something up off the floor and says (with that classic John Cleese delivery), “Is this a peice of your brain?” I remember watching it with my dad long ago and both of us laughing hysterically. I saw the episode again a year or so ago and it was still every bit as funny.
3. Ten Mistakes Writers Don’t See - Numbers 1, 3 and 9 sure ring true. Not that this is any kind of literary work, but perhaps it’s time to start paying closer attention to the words. Like in number 1 where I used ‘spot on’ and ‘spotlighted’ too closely.
4. Well this certainly contradicts what I learned once over here. I’m going to go nap for a bit then crank that Red Rider song and see what happens.
5. The redesign continues…
