Had very little time for the web the last few days :-), but for those who are interested, here’s a couple things I’m working on as time allows:
reUseIt Contest entry - Deadline: Friday, Oct. 31. Working on the finishing touches, I’ll be cutting it close.
Update: The reUseIt entries are up. There is some nice work there. Perusing the entries, I find myself saying ‘I wish I thought of that’ a lot. This one’s mine. I tried to approach it with the ‘if Neilson were a client seeking a fresh look and clean mark-up’ point of view.
Transparency Skills - A detailed, article-length entry describing the transparency technique used here and some of the caveats involved with it. Should be up early next week or so.
Design vs. Development - another article-length entry that will explore where (or if) the divide is and exactly where one needs to fall to be a truly effective web… uh, creator… builder… producer(?). I’ve been working this for a while now (it takes me much longer to write this kind of entry than say, this kind) and it should be pulled together soon. I’m hoping that it will generate some good discussion.
The Engine - As I’ve affectionately come to call it. The launch is still on for some time in November.
Catch up - Feebly attempting to get caught up with the 150+ weblogs I read daily and/or semi-daily, as well as all the latest OSX 10.3 news and reviews.
This site - Lots of the changes and/or improvements I constantly mention will start to surface here and there. KYEO.
Otherwise, I’ll be spending every possible moment with my wife, daughter and SON!
