A Few Things:

1. Never, never, never buy a rug from BJ's Wholesale Club. I won't get into the details but I'll just say: bugs... nasty, nasty bugs.

2. Transmission3000 is one of the best music sites I've ever found, ever. Tons of excellent quality live mp3's from "the best and brightest of indie rock". Fugazi, At the Drive In, Girls Against Boys and so on. Great stuff. (via slatch)

3.These photographs by Tim Carpenter bring abandoned buildings, rotting cars and deserted parking lots to life with soulful vibrance. Things left behind live on. Inspiring. (via coudal)

4. One of the good things about Mozilla and (the now defunct) Internet Explorer 5/Mac is the ability to export all of your bookmarks into a handy, easily transportable .html file. This makes relatively short work of syncing up your bookmarks between work and home. Sadly, this feature is gravely lacking in far preferable Mac browsers Camino and Safari. A quick, hopeful Google search lead to two great options: The aptly titled Safari Bookmark Exporter is simple and straight forward; does one thing and does it well, for free. URL Manager Pro essentially does the same thing, but is more full featured with many options and will run you $25.

5. On Friday I put up a new soundtrack. Should you happen to click on any of the album links in the soundtrack section or on the soundtrack page, then perchance, buy the record right there from Amazon, well you'd be helping support this here world wide web site. And you'd be graciously thanked.
