1. I write in awkward sentences and enjoy a biting nonchalance about the rules governing proper punctuation. I paint incomplete pictures... No seriously, there are like thirty started, unfinished paintings down in my basement.

2. I'm not one to rant on about the vacuous societal disaster that is reality television, I mean I partake in my share of the goofy-assed melodrama, but nothing I've ever seen in my life makes me want to go all Helen Keller more than America's Next Top Model. The crying, the cattiness, the commentary: “your breasts are too breasty” (the girl nods as if she actually knows what the f*ck that means!?), Tyra Banks taking it so seriously (as if there is some science or profound importance to the thing) that it's borderline comedy. This has to be the bottom. It just has to stop.

But I totally hope the 'edgy' one wins.

3. After a long hibernation, the redesigned portfolio page is now live. A few changes and adjustments are needed, but it's a start. For now, there are a couple design samples and a couple works on paper. Eventually, this site's portfolio page will consist of only personal work, paintings and the like, and the design work will be moved to Engine Graphics. Eventually.

4. So, unless something really strikes me and I can come up with meaningful thoughts on it, I'm not going to write about Apple stuff or web design stuff here anymore. Regular visitors may have noticed a distinct lack of that sort of thing lately. The subjects are well covered by those who are far more insightful than I'll ever be. This space will be used for other kinds of exploration.

5. New soundtrack. Whew... it's been a while. I try to tell myself I'm going to update it every two weeks, but, you know, that never happens.
