Outpatient

Fever, intense headache, sore throat, nausea, vomiting, chills, dizziness, emergency room, I.V., spinal tap, x-rays, seven hours of sleeping and waiting, aching, no appetite, no caffeine, dry toast, crackers, watered-down Gatorade, a general feeling of having been run over by a frickin' Mack truck. Twice.

That was Sunday and Monday.

Feeling a bit better today. Hopefully that will be the trend for the next few days. I might even try to eat a banana later. We'll see.

Elsewhere: I missed the big launch of Apple's new music service built into the all new iTunes 4 yesterday, but I played around with it some this morning. It's brilliantly designed, incredibly easy to use (the browse feature, which functions much like it does for your existing iTunes music library, is a particular stroke of genius) and will absolutely revolutionize legitimate digital music sharing, but speaking strictly from my personal musical perspective, the selection is severely lacking right now. However, they do offer the option of requesting music that isn't available yet. eMusic still has the most comprehensive punk/alternative collection I've seen. Also, as usual, there's a nice write up on it over at What Do I Know.
